Kenyan featherweight boxer Fatuma “Iron Fist” Adan has earned a shot at the world title after a stunning third-round knockout victory over her previously unbeaten opponent at Nyayo Stadium on Wednesday night.

Adan, who improves her professional record to 14-0, floored her opponent with a sharp left hook combination that left the challenger unable to continue.

“I’ve worked for this my whole life,” an emotional Adan told fans ringside. “Now we go for the belt, and I’m bringing it home to Kenya.”

Her promoters say a date and venue for the world title bout will be announced within weeks, with several cities already expressing interest in hosting.
